When is a PSA 10 worth chasing?
When comps show a big spread, the raw card has true gem centering/surface, and you can absorb a 9 outcome financially. When the 10 pop is already massive, the upside might not cover grading cost.
When is a PSA 9 a win?
Personal collections, sets where buyers care about the player not the gem, or cards where grading mainly adds liquidity. A clean 9 slab still beats selling raw to skeptics online.
